Brian P. Sheehan has over twenty years of experience in the information technology field. Mr. Sheehan joined DelCor in October 1993 as a Network Systems Consultant and is now a principal and Vice President of Network Systems and Support for the firm. Prior to joining DelCor, Mr. Sheehan was a consultant at a similar technology consulting firm located in the Washington Metropolitan area.
Mr. Sheehan’s primary focus is managing the Network Systems and Support arm of DelCor. In this role, Mr. Sheehan sets the strategic vision for the organization, develops new products and services, aligns technology initiative to fit within the association and non-profit arena, and focuses on business development. Prior to this, Mr. Sheehan focused on analyzing system requirements and designing network systems; project management of new system implementations; installation of LAN software and hardware components; establishing Internet access; using network analysis software; and providing remote LAN access solutions; installing and configuring network hardware including switches and firewalls, management and security of networks. His current emphasis is on working with associations and nonprofit organizations to: align technology initiatives with the organization’s strategic and tactical plans; develop goals and strategy plans for information technology to move the organization forward.
Mr. Sheehan, having a B.S. in Business and a M.S. in information technology, has the necessary knowledge to analyze financial, human resource, and other information technology related issues.
Mr. Sheehan is a member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and is also a member of the Greater Washington Society of Association Executives (GWSAE) Network. Mr. Sheehan frequently presents at both ASAE and GWSAE educational events and was awarded the 2003 ASAE All Star Award in the Technology category. This award recognizes excellence in customer relationship management among ASAE Associate Members.
